I recently purchased a G20 and since I already had 1000 165 gr. Montana Gold bullets that I have been loading for my G27, I thought I would also load the 165's in the 10mm. However, I can't seem to find info for a 165 gr 10mm bullet. I can calculate and get pretty close but I was wondering if anyone has gone through the drill of working up this load already and could share some pet loads for this bullet?

The data is hidden above in the stickied threads. We organized it according to powder manufacturer, rather than bullet weight. There are 165gr loads above. If you have NO powder on hand (which I doubt since you're already loading 40s), I'd look in the VihtaVouri, Accurate Arms, and IMR threads, as those brands of powders have the ideal burning rates. Sorry it's not organized by bullet weight.

I have loaded 165gr MG using 9.7gr of PP CCI 350LPM new Starline Brass OAL 1.255-1.260 and get avg of 1250FPS from my G29. According to Alliant reloading guide max load for 165gr GDHP is 10.0gr 1.255 OAL @ 1314 FPS. I have fired hundreds of this load and no Pressure signs. I now have a G20 and expect to get from 1280 to 1300 FPS with the longer barrel. Hpe this helps
