And I thought the guy selling one on armslist NIB for $1099 was over priced!

The M&P 15 OR was my first AR . I thought it was a great deal at $700 with $100 cash back from S&W

    $1329 not soo much

Nothing will ever be cheap again. Today is the day people have been waiting for for 4 years. Just wait and see what happens to those cases of mags people have bought IF a ban is passed. They bought them with the idea of selling them for $200 a pop if this happened.

Just wait and see what happens if they make it a felony to transfer them to ANYONE!

You could be right, :dunno: but look at the glut of ARs & AR stuff after the 08/09 shortage. Prices fell like a rock. $700 ARs and $10 mags as well as $7 per 20 ammo where everywhere. Production is ramping up as we speak so if nothing happens legally ( I think it will BTW) then the next glut will be even greater I think. Hell most of us are so stocked up from 08/09 that there will be even less buyers this glut.

But like I said I think a new AWB is likely is some form. Interesting to speculate on prices though :wavey:

MY LGS had a couple of S&W M&P's still on the rack but they were priced at $1250. I got my Armalite for $1095 OTD and feel good about that deal. Crazy stuff!

I mentioned this elsewhere, but I was at a large gun shop in my area yesterday and they were selling base line S&W ARs (complete guns) at $2200. That was the cheapest AR in the store.

People were buying 2 and 3 at a time. I could not believe it. The mania is 100% full steam in Jacksonville FL. I went just to be a spectator of the hype and still wound up buying an AR10 lower for a low low price of $650. Stupid I am sure, but I figure the window of opportunity may be closing for good.

BTW, I have all I need and don't get into hype buying, but still spent $350 too much for a stripped lower. Go figure.

I picked up a NIB LMT AR yesterday for $1165. Paid quite a bit more the day before for an LMT 308, but what a nice piece of equipment!

Yup I don't think they could feasibly make it illegal. But if they get their wet dream they will be going door to door.
