    Since the board is quiet....

This is my first attempt at pistol reloading. I’m using a Redding Ultra-Mag with the Redding 10mm Competition Dies, because I use the press for precision rifle. I’m weighing each load of 800x, took 9.4g for 175g silvertips to the range this weekend and really enjoyed the results. Next up, is the 165g Montana Gold and I’ll probably leave the 800x at 9.4g as my target load. Sorry no chrono yet, no pictures yet.

Keigan, Welcome to Glock Talk...it is always fun to get in on some range time especially with custom handloaded ammo...Congrats! There is a good 10mm following here at Glocktalk and many of the people here also frequent 10mm Talk forum also.

Seeing you are in to the 10mm you my wish to stop by the http://www.ar15armory.com/forums/forums.html and look for the 10mmTalk forum http://www.ar15armory.com/forums/10mm-Talk-Forums-f187.html

It is a great place to discuss all things 10mm and learn what others are doing as well.

    Best regards!

I would be curious what 9.4grs of 800x does to a 175gr Silvertip! I load up 9.7grs of Longshot and it gets me 1365 fps average from my Glock 20, haven't chronographed that load out of my new G29 SF.
