    I humbly enter The 10 Ring requesting a seat at the table of 10mm greatness. My journey has been a long one and full of setbacks but I have arrived. I ask that the all knowing masterful Guru's here at The 10 Ring allow a young grasshopper to sit among the men.

    I has always been a dream of mine to own a 10mm since the mid to late 80's back when the Bren 10 and Colt Delta Elite ruled the 10mm world. My dream became more of an obtainable vision when I started to reload a few years ago. After searching high and low I found a LNIB Glock 20sf. The price was right and the dream became a reality!

    After acquiring the Glock 20sf I launched on the quest of finding a good hand load for it. I started with a 200grain bullet and I must say after several trips to the range I have found the golden 10mm load. Grasshopper has learned to walk on rice paper with cleats. Thank you GlockTalk -Geo :supergrin:

    Here is my recipe;
    Brass- Starline nickel/brass
    Bullet- Nosler 200gr JHP
    Primer- Federal LP
    Powder- Blue Dot 10.0gr
    C.O.A.L.- 1.254" w/slight taper crimp

    Now a picture of said Glock 20sf with Warren Tactical FO sights with Talon grips.

    ...a picture of my hand loads.

    Nice. I like the grips. Do they help a lot over the naked grip?

    Is your reload recipe for sd or hunting or both? Do you know what velocity?

    Looks good! From what I've loaded with Blue Dot and the 200gr Nosler JHP, 10.0gr should be around 1,100 fps or so from the G20.

    I don't see much of an advantage, they came with the gun. I may take the talon grips off. I think the added material takes away the advantages of the "sf" for someone with smaller hands.

    I plan on using it for hunting, my G19 is my SD gun. As far as the velocity SDGlock23 puts it around 1100fps. :supergrin:

    Thanks- guys!

    Nice to see someone else who doesn't give up.

    I took a big gamble, already having a Witness (the closest thing I could get to a Bren 10 that was affordable and useable) and ordering a G-20 sf without having handled one but I find it more suitable that my G-22 for some reason.
