I just bought some 10 round mags for my 9MM Pro.
Getting the 10th round in the new mags is a total pain. They are really, really tight. The follower hits the bottom of the mag and the spring is very springy.

I have a bunch of older 10 round mags and when 10 rounds are in them there is still a little play in the top round, not so with the new ones.

I took them apart and the follower and spring are like the ones in a 17 round mag, not like the old 10 rounders. The follower is deeper and the spring is thicker and has more turns.

A friend said he has seen this before and I should just clip the bottom of the follower and 2 coils of the spring. I don't feel I should have to do this.

    Don't clip factory mag springs.

They make revisions for reasons they feel are appropriate (just like other manufacturers).
