I just found out there are different types of trigger bows some are shorter than others. I tried searching came up with nothing. I have a Springfield GI and I big on a Colt series 70/80 trigger will it go into my Springfield? Thanks.

they are all the same length, it's just that some are out of spec, such as those manufactured by Greider, which includes +90% of the triggers out there.

is this related to fit in a particular brand of 1911 or is it widespread ? I've installed maybe 10 Greiders and 5 Harrisons, ( which look like they might be made by Greider), and I've never had a problem.

I have had pretty good luck with the Wilson triggers, but theses have been on new builds where allot of fitting is the norm.
