Hello, fellow Glockers. I've been reading some posts over the last few days and figured I'd join. Went from owning a few glocks to switching to S&W full sizes, compact and shield. Now I'm on the verge of coming back and leaving the darkside.............mainly because my wife has taken a liking to the 4th Gen G19, in which, I'm ecstatic about.

She's bigtime into fly fishing with me, but no hunting. She has always liked shooting the 22 revolver trapping pistol and other 22's.

She's now interested in attending a fee classes with her new G19 and getting her LTCF. :jumpingjacks:

Randy is coming to Pitcairin Monroeville Sportsmans club over Memorial Day weekend.
My understanding is the class is a go.
Applications available at cumberland Tactics.com
Class will run 550 plus 25 per day range fee. Need 600 to 700 rounds.
I trained with him and Steve Tarani about 10 years ago.
Great instructor.

Thanks to all for the warm welcomes

Beerman, what part of Pennsylvania? I'm originally from suburb south of Pittsburgh kind of Mon Valley ish, but moved up north 8 years ago. I've been hunting and fishing in Elk county since I was knee high to a grasshopper out of my grandfathers camp on Winslow hill since the late 70's. Back then alot of dirt roads there still.

My wife's family been going to Potter county camp since the 1940's. Couple camps later of her and I attending over the last 20 years, we decided to move here and make a go of it.

Philly.....eeewwwww
Steelers country is where it's at homey. ....lol

Lancaster eh, is it true what they say about Amish women once you get them off the farm?

Joking thanks again for all the warm welcomes

Funny thing is three camps down the road from me. One group is from Lancaster, another from Gettysburg and another from York. I meet alot of people from Lancaster and York areas up here who have hunting and fishing camps.

Never been to any of those places accept for Gettysburg. Did do some work in Juniata county few years ago. Still some nice scenery and excellent trout fishing to be had in those parts

I am also from the south hills of Pittsburgh but not as far as the Mon Valley if you are referring to the Elizabeth / Monongahela area.

My buddy just bought a camp north of Tionesta which needs a ton of work. We will attack some of it when the weather breaks a bit.

That pistol class is a bit dear but worth it in my opinion.

DG,
I've only been through Tionesta once--nice country as well.

If you're ever over around Bradford, Pennsylvania area, Marty is a pretty good instructor as well. They also have an indoor range there that Jesse runs. I'll look the gunshop name up after I post this, I forget the name at the moment. They offer classes there as well.

Hello, No problem with S&W. You buy what fits you, and what you like. I love my Beretta 92. I have had them for over 25 years. I love my Glock 19 Gen 4. I am easy to get along with. Glad to meet you.

Acme ammo is name of shop with range. Pretty cool, but a little pricey on rentals. There's a place that was about a 20 to 30 minute ride from where I'm originally from called A&S pistol range in Youngwood, Pa., way cheaper on rentals and gun prices if you're ever around there Plus they have some good instructors there as well

Welcome to the Forum.

I once heard Pennsylvania described as Philadelphia and Pittsburg with the state of Alabama in between. Really nice looking state.
I've never been to bammy, but that pretty much domes it up I guess

I've been all over the country working in oil industry for twenty years. I'm proud to call PA home.

Hello and Welcome aboard. If the firearm you have is the one you want. NO problem here. I am not partial to any manufacturer.
