Congrats on your new G26. Of all my Glocks I shoot my G26 best. My G19 and G26 would be the last two Glocks I would ever sell. Its great that the G26 can also run the G19 or G17 mags.
I'm really tempted to get one for EDC. I sometimes worry my shield won't be enough. Would be nice to have the standard 10rd in the 26 and a 17rd mag for reload.
Awesome, same thing happened to me a few years back. Had a 26, sold to raise some funds and last Jan bought it back from friend so I "re-acquired" my 26.
I also had one and it didn't work for me. The grip angle and length wasn't right for my hand. But there's nothing wrong with it. Congrats and enjoy it safely and in good health.

I switched out my Shield .40 for a G27 for a couple of reasons, but capacity was one of the main ones.
I've never found myself in a situation of ever actually needing a to use my pistol, but I still carry it anyway.
So if I'm carrying for the unexpected, I might as well carry as much as ammo as feasible for the same reason. YMMV.
Exactly! Its that "I rather have it and not need it" mentality. How do you like the switch to the G27? Any regrets? I would appreciate any pearls of wisdom you wish to share.
Congrats. I used to have a glock 26 gen 3. Sold it to buy a glock 43. I missed it so much I sold my glock 43 and bought a new glock 26 gen 4. This gun is the best in my opinion.
I really love to shoot my Glock 26. It is very accurate, and points naturally for me. I recently threaded a Glock 19 factory barrel and installed it in my Glock 26. I enjoy shooting it with my GemTec can, and easily switched back for concealed carry. What a great pistol!!
Got one on the way currently. Also have a Shield 9 and Glock 23. Want to sell the Shield and get a Glock 43 and do the same with the 23 to get a 19. Always on the look out for a a 17L as well... I just want to go all Glock at this point after handling and owning some other brands. Love the simplicity and parts interchangeability.
