Took Wife to range for third time and still have issues with 42 & limp wrist (hers).
Ordered the new Colt Corba and should be in this month.
No need in worrying about it. She shoots the 19's with no problems.

I was really concerned about the limp wristing sensitivity of our 42 when I first got it. But after a few hundred rounds, now it runs really well and isn't sensitive at all.

Just in time for my wife to decide now she really wants my gun. :crying:

This is what happened to the 26. And the 34. I guess there are worse things than having a wife who likes guns. :dunno:

My Ruger LCP, dependable, long time companion, carried for years and years, has been REPLACED with a G42, in the ultra compact pocket carry role. Since the ISIS terror threat of the past several years, I have only carried it a few times a month and have preferred a higher capacity 9MM instead. But the G42 is a fantastic gun. I can dump all 7 rounds in a target pretty darn quick, perhaps 1.5 to 2 seconds or so. Super fast follow up shots...

My experience has been the same. Owned a few PM9's and had reliability issues with every one of them...I'll never own another Kahr.

Whereas all four of our 42's have been 100% flawless with several thousand combined rounds. Been pocket carrying one every day since October 2015.
My PM9 has been flawless, but I only have about 300 rounds through it so far, so not definitive. I am spending most of my range time these days working on the trigger control, which is pretty challenging compared to the G42. Anytime I get tired of the pattern on the target after 3-4 magazine with my PM9, I can pull out my G42 and make it look better in no time. :)

I picked up a kahr cw380 a year ago for something to put in my pocket...it’s so tiny I can carry it front pocket wearing light weight shorts...

I really wanted the 42, but it’s just not small enough, and when you move up to the 43 then you are so close to the size of the 26 that the 43 doesn’t make sense to me...

That being said, in my experience the “tiny” 380 pistols all seem to be finicky to me, like they really require your utmost detail in grip to get them to work without malfunctioning.

Not sure I am 100% on my pocket gun, but I only use it as a gun I carry when I am not supposed to be carrying, otherwise it’s a 26 aiwb...I like to call my cw380 an “oh ****” gun

In teaching our gun safety class over the years, we've found that students manipulate revolvers more easily, and shoot autos more easily.
I love revolvers, but learning to shoot them well, double action, is not a thing easily done for rookies.
