Those guns must be terrifying to a people that call the police and their bomb squad, to dispose of a .22 caliber LR shell laying in the street.

All those swords still around after the crusades must be unnerving too.

I remember them ****ting their knickers over the .22 shell. Wasn't there a 12 block lockdown over that?

I would be amazing how they would react if the stumbled on to a collection of a normal member of this sight. I remember being very confused when my family moved there in the late 90's and my parents told me we had to leave all the guns in Texas. It had never occurred to me that some places did not allow for easy ownership of guns.

Brits like weapons as much as we do ...
When BAE was sending numbers of their people to coordinate with us (Lockheed) on the F-35, many of them fell into the deplorable clutches of American gun fanatics. (Myself and an avionics test engineer ..)

We used to take them to the range to experience the many and varied pieces of equipment available to the gun-mad Americans ...
They loved it ! Gun-O-phobia is not a national characteristic, it is imposed by a bunch of schleps .... :frown:

The folks we hosted had a heckuva good time, but we were sad to see them go, back to their sad, once-great nation.

There's a moral to the story in there somewhere !

I guess the lesson is that people should choose their leaders carefully for they will determine the destiny of all.

Determine what your own future will be, if you don't someone else will determine it for you.
