seems to be a more frequent occurrence lately. both assaults on LE, but also citizens willing to step up to the plate and help out. I am loving these success stories lately.
you really just never know what is going to happen when you flip the blues on

It's a bad time to be a scumbag. The Choom Summit gangsta is gone, and there is a new sheriff in town. Not to mention at least half a country worth of people who've had enough **** to last 7 lifetimes.

Bring it *****es.

God bless the Trooper, and especially his guardian angels. :patriot:

More evidence that most citizens understand the situation and are willing to help even if their actions puts them in harm's way.
Just the opposite, the article said many cars just drove on by. These two citizens are a rare breed.

I don't think a lot of people have realized how close we came to total Anarchy in this country.
And you all know this well. It's still going to take 4-8 years to bring the last 24 years back to a proud and functional USA!!! God Bless this Trooper and those who jumped in for the cause.

There will never be full support for LEO's by all citizens, but there will be support by those that know we are all in this together.

I do believe that law enforcement works for me as a citizen and I have an obligation to work for them also. Cops deserve my help against criminals as much as I need theirs.

The citizens that stopped to help should get an award from the governor.
I haven't heard any news on that front yet, but wouldn't be at all surprised. Governor Snyder has done more to strengthen our state police than anyone in recent history.

That Trooper would have been in BIG trouble real quickly if that guy didn't stop to help him. I hope he pounded the hell out of the one he had a hold of just off camera. That guy didn't sign up to put himself in harms way like officers do. He didn't hesitate when he saw that officer in trouble though. Good for him. I bet he has a friend for life in that officer.

It looks like something was thrown at the officer from the perp car as he passed, water bottle maybe. I assume the car was following the bike after it was stolen, extremely dangerous situation and not easy to foresee. I think it's just as much a miracle that neither perp was armed, they were certainly dangerous.
