Watch some more of his videos and you'll be even more sure of that. He goes through a lot of guns though. I wonder how many he keeps, and how many he sells to keep his YT channel active?
And, how would that not cast a shadow, or at least a dimmed area, right in the most critical part of the field of view when locating or aiming at a target? Weird. If used in a dusty or foggy environment, the reflection off the FSB would cause a whiteout.
Exactly. People are always stressing, keep your eyes on the front sight. You can't miss it with all that light reflecting off the front sight.
OTOH, all that light reflecting off the front sight probably isn't going to help with your low light vision.
I don't think he has quite enough junk on that rifle. NEED MORE ACCESSORIES!!!
I actually tried it to see what kind of shadow the front sight casts. It makes a nice 3 foot tall front sight projected on the wall. That won't be distracting at all in the heat of things.
I am curious if the sight post shadow would be an accurate sighting method. Maybe when I'm bored I'm throw my bore laser in and take a pic.
Back when he was on a revolver kick he actually put it on his kitchen counter and stuck a marker through the trigger guard to prop it up for the camera. Of course it was loaded.
it highlights the front sight post LOLOLOL! I bet it does. All the fan inspired baubles all around his work bench is not inspiring confidence. A mans shoes and his workbench tell me all I need to know about him.
He is such a noob that he doesn't realize that some AR's don't have a front sight to block that light. I don't think he could get any more crap on his piece.
Too much swag, he could me branded a future Mall Ninja of America.
Totally agree trained for years in infantry and law enforcement. Never with a light in front of me mounted on my firearm. Other ways to use a light without being directly behind it.
I was hoping for duct tape or a wire tie holding a light under the hand guard. He made it worse than either of those. That's going to be unpleasant in the dark.

I put a momentary flashlight in my non shooting hand. I hold that flashlight out to the side of my body. Never with my center mass behind that light. I looked for just that target in the military. Lights, cigarettes, lighters, matches, flint strikes, reading glasses reflecting in full moon, wrist watch reflection.
