Since most of yall absolutely hate the way I do my Glocks and love griping about customizing a Glock on a site that revolves around customization of said weapon, I thought I would put some more pics up for everyones displeasure.

That looks pretty good!

Cant tell if it's stippled, dipped, or BOTH - Kinda looks like a "carbon fiber" type of finish.

I guess I haven't seen your work before, but it looks very unique.

Well let's see here. Past posts you have said:
1) you are not an artist...check
2) you are not an entrepreneur......check
3) you do not care if what you create fits others....check.

Posting your efforts though do suggest a need for validation and acceptance.

Realize this Forum is not for the customization of Glocks; although many here use this as such. There is a sticky though here for pictures of such, I suggest you might want to post future endeavors to the sticky, those comments might be more to your validation.

Unfortunately, many here including myself look at components used, finishes applied and basic reasoning do not apply to the consensus of people responding to your threads.

I'm all for personal customization of guns especially if they run well. No make no sense to work on a gun just for esthetics. I hope your friend enjoys the gun. Be safe.

I need no validation. I had a friend that wanted this done to his gun and I did it. I do however believe that you have the need to constantly throw mud on this forum to somehow feel better about yourself. If you dont like something you constantly have to tell everyone how much you dislike it, the person has bad taste, it was poorly executed, and have wasted money, time and a perfect handgun. Did your mommy not hug you enough when you were a child?

Actually you are the only one that I sincerely negated their efforts. Unlike Liberals of today not everyone needs or should get a medal for participation, of course that may be more age than politics.

Ps suggest you look at Dom 42's work, he has many pictures of stippling, undercuts etc. Probably the best I've seen.
Funny you should bring up my mother, I believe there is never enough time for family, she passed 14 years ago from cancer today.

A proven handgun off the shelf is sufficient, for me. I've never felt the need to begin to tinker with it.
But; people love to tinker.

OP;;; Knock yourself out and have a good time. Iffin we don't like your pictures,,,,
all we have to do is roll the mouse wheel. Enjoy your craft while you can!

Not something I would pay for but I do think it looks pretty neat.

I wouldn't kick it out of my gun safe

Wow that is cool looking! I'm kinda surprised by some of the negativity already posted about it....
Geez Louise. Why does negativity surprise you? We as individuals have different tastes in everything from cars to women to colors to music, and we're all free to have our likes and dislikes, which form our opinions, which we then often express in replies to things presented in public forums on the internet. This is a totally naturally occurying daily phenomenon across the globe 24/7/365. But just because this is a Glock orientated website doesn't mean we all have to fawn over every single example of Glock presented, treating each as if it were some kind of precious gem encrusted ancient golden relic with magical powers. WTF, over.

If people can't take a difference of opinion or constructive criticism then they have no business posting on public forums. Instead of complaining about any disparaging commentary maybe they should either grow a set or create their own private forum where they can then with the stroke of a mouse or finger cherry pick their site's contents to align with their own very speshul[sic] thoughts and likes. Maybe name it "TheLandOfRainbowsAndUnicorns.com" or "EveryGlockIsBeautiful.com" or "DontBeAHaterJoinUsHereAtCandlyLand.com"...

I easily hate half the stuff posted here, ie., I don't care for any form of stippling, frame hacking, cerakoting, flashy TiN bling coatings, etc. It's all crap to me. So what? It's my prerogative. But my opinions aren't any less credible, trustworthy, or correct than the next person's...they're just my opinions for cripe's sake.

It looks interesting. Great job if it suits your style and works well. Adding stipples or grip surface mods or extended slide stops .... different triggers and polished trigger parts are all cool as long as the gun still functions well and is safe to operate.

I like stainless captured springs for recoil that are a couple extra lb . I like to polish trigger bar parts. I put in a 3.5 lb connector. And I finally am trying out a new apex trigger as I tried one and liked it. Generally my glocks are pretty well stock except for a connector which is a glock part shined up a bit. I have never tweeked a glock into not working perfectly. I like a captured stainless recoil assembly as I have had a couple glock units that broke and made the pistol non useable. That is not acceptable for me. I think glock knows that their recoil assemblies are not great and improved them for gen4 .

I am going to try a drop in apex trigger , it does not make the pull any different , but does make it feel better on your finger. I will test it a lot before I would consider using that setup for defense or ccw.

I would say that is one of the uglier glocks I have ever seen. But each of us have different tastes. To each their own! Ignore guys like Rocky who state bullcrap like this site isn't here to discuss modifying glocks. We can discuss whatever we want about glocks, granted we are in the right sub-forum. This forum doesn't say "discuss stock glocks only", or "No discussing modifications!". Ignore the elitism and have fun. You may get crap for the mod you choose, but that's par for the course on the intertubes.
