First I have heard of it, but going off the pics and the Walthers I've shot, I bet it would feel really nice in my hand. Good price point too, if the above linked article is correct, at $399. I wonder how the trigger feels, think I have only fired striker-fired Walthers.

Looks like a makeover of the discontinued Walther PPX that was about as ugly a poly pistol as one can find. This one looks decent, more PPQ like. Not my cup of tea but it probably will sell well as a mid $300 range pistol. I bet it has the same three part barrel assembly that is partially MIM as the PPX. PPX was also hammer fired but the hammer was internal.

Walther Creed? Really stupid name. The worst thing about the gun will probably be its name, and the ridiculous marketing campaign the name implies. Maybe they'll hire some grim fitness models.o_O

According to Google Translate, 'creed' in German is 'glaubensbekenntnis'. I'd rather buy a Walther
Glaubensbekenntnis.

The PPQ, P99, & PPS are the true Walthers being built today. The PPX, CCP, P22, PK380 & the newer PPK/S .22 are all Umarex-inspired guns. The former group is built to service standards; the latter is not, hence are much more hit-or-miss. I strongly suspect that the Creed will be part of the latter group.

Perhaps there's hope that the Creed will, in fact, be an actual Walther. If it makes it's way to the 'defense portal' and 'police portal' on carl-walther.com, like the PPQ, PPS, and P99, then Walther considers it one of their best. If it only shows up in 'defense guns - pistols', then Walther itself does not view it as service grade. We'll see where they place it.

Yup. PPX M2 in my opinion. With a dumb name added. At least it takes PPX mags and has a good trigger like the PPX.
Yeah, it looks like it is a PPX M2 with such an odd name. The PPX had a very LEM feeling trigger and it's actually why I grew to really like the LEM. The PPX trigger was better than any light LEM I have tried IMO. I do like that the PPX mags fit as I have around 8-10 for my PPX. I have a PPQ Navy as well but I actually prefer the PPX trigger.

The PPX did have a surprisingly good trigger, considering the price.

I tried to talk an acquaintance into a PPX, some time back being that 1. wanted new and 2. had a very low budget. (I originally scored them an XD9 for $300, but they didn't want used. :( ). Considering they got a High Point, I think the PPX would have been a step up. Now they're looking to ditch the high point, go figure.
