New Scorpion, loads of fun at the range!

I've been wanting a 9mm carbine and finally scratched the itch. I picked up a CZ Scorpion carbine with the "faux" silencerco silencer. I can't tell you how much fun I had with this thing. I stuck my Holoson red dot on, and after a few shots had it dialed in.

I wanted to shoot some steel targets but the range I was at wouldn't let me shoot on the pistol range with it, which is surprising since it's just a 9mm. Oh well...

It ran flawlessly and I probably put about 150 rounds through it. I can't wait to go back. If you're considering one, get one. They're loads of fun.

You bastard. I wish I could own a gun like that in my lousy state....

I mean great gun...good luck with it. Seriously nice gun. How did it shoot

It shot great. No hiccups at all, very accurate and just so much fun.

I'd love to SBR one with that handguard, a Silencerco Octane 9K, and Zhukov folding stock. Sadly with an Aimpoint T2 and Surefire X300U that'd probably end up running around $3k, and as I already have a suppressed 9mm SBR I just can't justify it.
Someone's been watching Military Arms Channel on youtube!! :) I want to do the same, SBR/supressor but for now I'm happy with it stock. I looked at some of the higher end red dots and just couldn't justify it. I've never had one so I went with a more "budget" option with the Holosun/Sig to see if I liked shooting with it.

Of all the red dots I looked at, I do think the MRO is worth the extra $ just for the larger field of view, but I'm extremely impressed with my $200 Holosun.

I agree, much fun; here is mine. Light, laser, holosight and a suppressor that works. It sits in my bedroom when it isn't at the range.

I like what MAC did with his though I'd prefer a little shorter handguard, just to save some weight if nothing else.

I've been wanting an MP5 clone but the Scorpion is hella nice and suppresses like a dream.

Everybody should own a pistol caliber carbine. The Scorpionis a solid choice. Enjoy!

Cool gun, congrats. These 9mm carbines are becoming my favorites.

Can't say I like the fake can; apparently, it's no big thing to screw it off and add a flash hider?
This whole plastic gun thing is still new to me, but apparently these should be durable. The Czechs use 'em as buzz guns.

I went to the range again tonight and just love the Scorpion. It's literally the most fun I've ever had shooting, by a long shot and they are so damn accurate!

This was at 25 yards with my cheap Holosun red-dot shooting while standing and firing just about as fast as I could. I thought it was pretty darn good. This is not a full size target by the way, there are 5 of these on the target so it was probably 12" tall.

Here are the rest of the Scorpions companions.

Really nice! It oddly enough feels like it belongs along side that SCAR.

I gotta find someone who'll let me try one of these.
It does "look" like it should be next to the SCAR but they could NOT be more different. The SCAR used to be my favorite rifle, but it's been replaced by the Scorpion. If you shoot one, you will want one - seriously. It's just a blast.

It's no wonder why sub-machines guns like the MP5/Uzi are so popular. Pistol caliber carbines are just awesome!

Preaching to the choir on pistol caliber carbines. If I had it to do over, I'd have more PCCs and a couple fewer ARs. If things don't go totally to chit in two weeks, I may rearrange some things in the arsenal.
Currently have the pistol iteration of the Scorp; it's in BATF purgatory, waiting to get a stock. I tried a 'brace' and wasn't totally satisfied, tho' they make a temporary solution, and the adapter plate works with AR buffer-tube setups as well.
