I bought a G43 yesterday. One of the standard mags has a pinky extension, which I don't like. I cannot find a non-extension floor plate online for the 43. They sell them for the 42 for $2, but non for the 43. Does the floor plate for the 42 also fit the 43?
Although I don't own a 42. My guess is it will not fit your 43. I bet if you called Glock customer service and tell them how much you like your Glocks they would send you a couple.
I cut mine off. It's been awhile, but I think I carefully used a hacksaw blade, not going too deep or scuffing the bottom, then used my knife, a small file, and some emery paper to smooth and shape it like the other one. I know it didn't take long, and you can't tell it from the other magazine, without a close examination of the bottom.
Glockmeister traded me for a flat one, but they are local to me. They said they could sell the pinky mag plate. They don't fit anyone I know and are harder to conceal.
Problem solved. The shop I bought the gun from will switch out the magazine for one without an pinky extension. Thank you for your responses. Happy Glocking.
Anybody you guys know sells, only the Glock original Factory Finger rest please LMK.
I know they have aftermarket ones available but I like "Stock Glock".
I am also looking for a Glock 43 OEM pinky entension to convert the magazine that was supplied w/o to a second one with it. I know for CC the mag w/o extension may be the preferred magazine.
If this OEM part is available, does it snap in place over the stock magazine bottom plate?
I am looking for the 43 pinky extension plate but it looks like only the full magazine (staying with Glock OEM) is available or I simply have not found the correct part.
I see the flat floor plate for $2. I am looking for the a OEM 43 pinky extension magazine plate.
Does anyone know if this part ( Glock OEM) is for sale? If not, the only option is a new 43 magazine or aftermarket extension I suppose.
Sorry, I was referring to the flat ones the OP was looking for.
