I tried out the Onyx from Stealthgear. Did not like it. It took up waaay too much length on the belt for no apparent reason. Did not care for those metal nut things on the backside but I guess they are using them on the new holster too(?) I got my money back for the Onyx.

The "Revolution" looks better in that it has a smaller footprint. Glad to see that nylon net material is gone(?)

Will probably try one of these new holsters because I keep looking for a kydex holster that I like even half as much as my beloved horsehide Sparks VM2s. Would wear kydex when around water/fishing so as to protect my leather holster.

Hoping they still offer a trial period.

What pistols does the "Mini" fit?

Looking forward to reviews.

Might add that Stealthgear folks returned my money quickly(minus shipping) I did let them know what I did and did not like about the Onyx. They were very helpful about it and seemed interested to know my thoughts.

Think what you did not like is the main reason they came out with the Mini, and it fits everything i can find, just brings that back section closer to the holster body. I would not be surprised if you see the original onyx size phased out.

I have an onyx and a mini and love them both. I OWB most of the time with my shirt over it and it's the most comfortable and durable holster I've ever owned and I've tried them all. I'm an "old guy" with bags full of holsters that I'll never use again since I found StealthGear about a year ago. Can't wait to get my hands on one of these Revolution Holsters!
