My local gun store has one in and I'm very impressed with the quality of the gun, the trigger, ergo' so, etc. I do prefer a decocker but haven't looked into whether or not it can be swapped. Just another range gun to have. Experience?
The one I handled seemed to be made well enough. Rotating barrel lock is nice as to recoil. I have not shot one, and like the Arsenal Strike One, it is too expensive for what it is. If these seemingly greedy upstart pistol manufacturers would try to keep the price of their "vunder" pistols at around $500 or less, they would sell all they can make. I have been interested in a Strike 1, but I will not give that much for a polymer pistol, that's just stupid! I thought I heard that the Strike 1 is a thing of the past in the U.S. because of sales. No kidding, huh!
End of story is the Grand Power is priced too high. So no sales, to speak of.

I don't have any experience, and in fact I had to look it up to see what it is.
My thoughts on newer, or more obscure firearms, are how available/expensive are magazines, sights, holsters, etc... They don't do me any good if I can't find parts, or have to sell a child to be able to afford parts.
A guy in our Club has/had one. Unsure which model but a 9mm. He had issues with feeding/extraction and was contacting the Factory to get it looked at. Apparently THAT did not goo well and last I saw...It was up for sale.
Sorry...too many reasonably priced, KNOWN quantity polymer pistols out there for me to help a new company with their start up.
and I agree 110% with gruntmedik.... What do mags, sights, etc cost? And how available?
Good, bac1023. I am glad you are happy w/ your Strike 1, and I mean that. I just will not pay $700 for a polymer pistol. And I think the $700 price was a discount, as I think they sold for more than that when the first entered the US.
I do like what I see w/ the Strike 1, I just refuse to give that much for a polymer pistol that is kinda unproven and has no US logistics. But that's just me.
Have fun w/ it.
I gave serious thought to buying one, never shot but handled one.
Stay away from the Mark 7's imported by s**tbag Century, the Eagle imported Mark 12's have the bugs worked out.
At around $500, they are not overpriced IMHO.
A huge hit, for me anyway, is the breathtaking cost of factory mags at $60 a pop. I had a tough time with that. The ironic upside is Eagle sells many of the small parts cheap like they do with the Bersa's they import.
I may end up with one someday but the focus now is reloading stuff and AR's.
Grand Power has little support and no parts available. I just got rid of 2, a Ultra and MK7, could not get the place I got them from to do a trade, they said no value to them on resale.
I would go a different route if I was you.
Accurate but a pain in the butt to disassemble and reassemble.
Yep. Like I said, no "logistics". Best if you pass it up. If you like rotary unlock(which does have it's merits.), look into Beretta's offerings and Beretta clones, built under License from Beretta. Much better support and parts network.
I have the Grand Power and have had the Beretta rotating barrel model, I much prefer the Grand Power, more accurate and more reliable. Very soft shooting. Parts and service for the current model are available from Century.
From an online gun rag:
"This all-purpose combat pistol is the official sidearm of the Slovakian military. In the process of being selected, the K100 pistol was put through, and passed with flying colors, incredible torture tests that other internationally famous brands failed miserably, such as 100,000 rounds without any changes in critical dimensions and 20,000 consecutive rounds without any feeding failures. It also underwent a silicone dust wind chamber test (think desert sandstorm) that ground the K100’s competition to a halt – literally."
A guy on another gun forum said it was his favorite pistol to shoot other than his Sig P210, believe it or not.
Thanks for all the replies. I often go through many guns. My safe has "safe" side with guns that will stay and then who knows side. I don't like when it's tough to get holsters or other accessories but then again, it's kind of expected when buying a gun like this. I had SAR K2 45 not so long ago and after a few range visits, it just didn't do it for me and was sold. I don't know, hard gun to find and shoot before buying.
I'm interested in getting a 5" Model in 10MM when they become available later this year, but like you I share concerns over getting magazines and a holster something I wouldn't have to worry about with other 10MM pistols.
