Anyone have one they love? I only need it for one small glock now, but may end up for 2 later. Not after anything too fancy, just something that does the job.
Permanently transform your bucket into an airtight/leak proof storage container. Now a bucket can be used for hundreds of household storage applications. Simply snap the patented adaptor onto your bucket and spin-on the removable lid.
Easy to open and close
Fits 3.5 to 7 gallon buckets
Heavy duty
Unlimited uses
Includes universal adapter ring and threaded replacement lid
Note that it is called "compact" but it is really quite sizable. I have often been asked at ranges who made it. The only small complaint I have about it is that there is a single layer of material at the bottom of the outside pockets. If you carry pistols in the outside pockets with the action open, sharp edges of slides or sights can make tiny holes in the fabric.
I bought an Osage river range bag off of Amazon. I purchased the lite version and it hold my G17 and 8 mags in pockets and a 33rd in the middle compartment plus my shield and 2 mags, 3/4boxes of ammo + , ears and all my cleaning stuff with a bit of room to spare. The large is quite a bit bigger it seemed. The zippers are lockable and seem very heavy duty
I also like the fact that its unmarked so it doesnt scream hey I am full of gun stuff and the price was right.
Funny thing is I have a ton of range bags, but never really bought one. Most of mine were promos for buying a pistol or rifle or some such. Wilson, S&W, and various various no name bags.
I refuse to pay something with a name printed on it so I have to pay so they get free advertising.
One of my range bags is a courier type shoulder bag I got from my credit union. Separate compartments for guns, side compartments for ammo, magazines, eyes, and ears.
Maybe it is because of my bad back, but I don't see how everyone is so keen on these duffel type bags, that I would have to carry on just 1 shoulder. Love my GPS Tactical Range Backpack, I posed earlier, because the weight is on both shoulders equally. Plus super easy to keep both my hands free while toting it around. Just my 2 cents, thought I'd throw in.
I'd buy the cheapest bag I could find. I use a 20$ plastic tote, a Craftsman tool bag, a plastic file folder, and a cardboard box for lot of my shooting needs. There's no point in spending money on a good bag that could be spent on ammo and guns.
I have the Midway full size bag and it works pretty damn well, caught it on sale but no idea what it cost. It has so many freaking pockets I have lost stuff, a couple times, for a month or two.
Explorer Tactical. You can get them from Amazon. I have one large black bag and one small OD green bag. They have lots or compartments and nice heavy duty zippers.
