blacknitride for my G20. It did say for the black barrel another possible 30 days addition lead time. How long do you think it will take to get to my door. I ordered it from the factory.

I knew I could count on you. I guess i'm looking at a two month wait possibly, or more. I just didn't want a shiny barrel

I am totally with you. I have had a lot of AM barrels, every single one bright metal because I didn't want to wait or was too cheap. I hated all of them (by the way they looked in the gun), I only own one AM now, all the others are gone.

The good news is KKM are terrific products, so however long it takes, it likely will be something you keep.

Yeah, its not known about additional 30 days until after you hit the buy button. No big deal, the wait will be worth it. i thought maybe someone has bought from them.

Ordered an extended, dual ported,
Black Isonite QPQ 357 Sig barrel for my G27 directly from Storm Lake.
Seemed like they indicated 30 days extra for the Black Isonite QPQ treatment.
Don't remember total time to my door.
But I waited for months...

The end result was pure sweetness though.

I got an email from them yesterday. It said my order was complete. I assume they sent it to be treated. I'm quite sure the wait is worth it.

Nice! Honestly if they'd make it a stocking item vs something with a possible extended lead I might consider trying it out next time even though I am kind of fond of the plain stainless look.

Well I'm impressed, got an email today saying it has been shipped.

After trying a couple of Lone Wolf barrels in a G27 and a G30 and going through a nightmare of a customer service debacle lasting about 3 months I turned to KKM.

I called and asked a bunch of questions and ended up talking to the President of the company who I believe has since died in a motorcycle accident. Tremendously helpful and courteous and through him I ordered two KKM barrels for those two Glocks. There were both stainless and it seems like they came in about a week. Dropped right in no adjustments needed and were a whisper more accurate than the stock Glock barrels and functioned all the time unlike the Lone Wolf barrels.

KKM are the only barrels that I would put in any of my Glocks..... IF the stock barrel did not handle my reloads.

I got a LW 40-9mm barrel for my Glock 23, boy was it a mistake, sold it at a loss. got a Storm Lake and it is wonderful. Was so impressed by Storm Lake that I got a 6 inch for my Glock 20.

I have had a few Lone Wolf barrels, with the exception of relatively tight throats (zero free bore) making lead loading a short OAL affair, I have been impressed. The only one I have left is a 9mm conversion barrel for my G35, works great, best actually with the G22/35 magazine.

The two storm lake barrels I owned both had the same tight throats (zero free bore) as the LW, so I saw no difference at all. Only KKM have come as accommodating as my stock Glock barrels load wise with the difference being a nice match style chamber and a little less cut into the chamber by the feed ramp (a little more head support).

I have had all three and quality wise I think the edge goes to KKM, but any of the three will work. The thing I liked about the KKM's that I have purchased is they came throated so I could run my lead loads to OAL's I liked. Both LW and SL came with tighter throats, so my lead had to be loaded shorter unless I was willing to send the barrels off for throating.

As far as accuracy, there is no difference. People that say their drop in fit AM barrel was more accurate than their stock Glock barrel just suffer from confirmation bias. You will see guys that have in depth analysis showing their drop in AM barrel was more accurate, but only a fitted barrel will do better and that benefit will probably be immeasurable for the average shooter and unless they are shooting pretty far out there. At normal SD ranges, immeasurable.
