After watching the video I would say that he shouldn't be in police work. He's had a couple of past issues, but not backing up another officer is unforgivable. Maybe a blanket party would help get his head squared away. If not, bye bye ex-officer.
lord have mercy. Apparently I am blessed with my shift. they will chime up and ask if we want help even if it's a damned 9 y.o. giving their mom hell about not wanting to go to school.... jesus I miss summer break.
You're right, they are pretty good. But he could have taken a quick bite, then run out and take care of the problem AND THEN wander on back to finish the burger. :2gun: :dancing:
I am lucky if my backup is ever closer than 30-40 minutes away. That said...I would promtly kick another officers ass if I found out he finished his dinner before backing me. That tool bag is not a cop. And hopefully, he will not be a police officer for much longer either. And yes...there is a difference between a cop and a PO.
Cram a Wahlburger up his ass. It'll keep it warm and he'll have a spare so next time he won't have an ethical dilemma over whether to back up his partner or finish his burger. One is none and two is one.
I just don't know, guys. Two fresh grilled buns smeared with mustard, two juicy all beef patties, crisp lettuce, fresh tomatoes, onions and jalapeños, and all pleasingly wrapped in an inviting orange paper....I just don't know. Back up your partner or finish the above?
Also, this officer may suffer from "J. Wellington Wimpy" disease of Popeye the Sailor Man fame. If so, y'all are all haters after all.
I hate to say this but in my department they would identify him as a problem officer and then make him a supervisor to minimize the damage he does.
