Ok folks..
I bought a g26 three months ago. My first glock. Love it!!
Now I want another. My current edc is the g26 and an lcp bug.
I want to move to two flicks, but which ones.. Two g26 or a g26 and a 19.
I live in ct .. So ten round mags are all we get!!
What's the con census on this?
19. Period. 26 is good, 19 is better for shooting a bunch. Still easy to carry, it's just the right size. 10rd mags are OK, just carry 2 spare mags instead of 1.
I agree w/ Terlingueno...BUT, from a tactical perspective, I would go w/ the 19. Then you have a subcompact and a larger "fighting" gun should the world ever end that you can interchange mags (use the longer ones in the 26) and the same caliber...after that I would be looking to get a larger frame/ larger caliber gun.
I would like to have a bigger round esp if limited in mag capacity...but even those of us who like larger rounds, I recommend that everyone have either a 9mm OR a pistol that is the same caliber as the local LEO if they are streamlined (if all or most cops in area carry the same caliber). If the world ever ends 9mm will be able to be scavenged as well as rounds from public safety who had a bad day can be scavenged.
While I regularly carry a G32 or 19, if I were limited to ten rounds, I'd stick with an easier carrying, much more accurate 1911 in a Commander size. You simply cannot compare the trigger.
I have a G32 and a G33...one for warm weather (and travel to more restrictive states) and one for cold. However, if I lived in a state with magazine capacity limits, I think I'd consider a G43 or a S&W J-Frame Airweight. Both are super easy to carry and will be a great alternate or companion to your G26.
If I lived in a state where I was limited to 10 round magazines I'd be looking at 45acp Glocks not 9mm. If I felt I was accurate and could control a 45ACP Glock. I hate gen4 guns. Gen3 21 is an uncomfortable grip and painful for me to shoot. A 21SF is just enough difference that I'm comfortable with it. Of course I prefer full size guns also.

Excellent ideas folks.. I thank you all for your input.. I'm old school when it comes to caliber.. So I like my 9mm.
I really like the interchangeable mags with the 26/26 or 19/26 combinations, and I think I'm leaning toward a 19.. Just in case by some miracle they lift the mag restriction.
I qualify for blue box, so I will check my favorite gun shop.
I'd get a 30s in .45 but if you want to stick with 9mm I would get another G26 as a spare carry. You might think about a smaller carry such as a G42 or G43.
Being stuck in a 10 round state is the only time I'd consider a model 37, but only until the 30S crossed my mind. Otherwise, two 26s would work fine for me.
I have a 26, 19, 17, 27,23, 21 and a G43. I always go back to the 26(or 27). The others (except the 43) are just not comfortable to carry. (And I am a big framed guy, 6'2" and 240).
If I had to do it all over again, I would just buy the 26 and maybe the 43.
I feel now, that I wasted my money looking for the perfect Glock, when the first one I bought was the 26, and that was perfect. I have Pearce +3 grips on the mags (which really are only +2, unless you really force another round in). This gives me 13 rounds including the chambered round.
My second favorite is the 43, which I have had for about a month. I put +1 grips on the mags which gives me 8 rounds total.
If I were you I would seriously consider a G43 and not move up to a larger gun, especially with the 10 round limit, it doesn't make sense.

I'd go with the 26/26 combo and do so on occasion. One IWB and one on the ankle. I actually shoot the 26 better then the 19, so it's all good.
OP, By the way, great question, thanks.
