I posted this in another topic but thought I would start one for the 43
I bought my 43 on May 1st 2016
#BBAExxx Austria made
The old connector # 33215 is the one that has a 8-10 pound pull
Mine came from the factory with the new 33564 and the pull feel close to a normal glock trigger about 5.5

So keep an eye out for the new part for those of you that have older 43s
Good luck

As a self-confessed G42 fanboi, I will say this in its defense: The problems with the gun were extremely hit-or-miss; an early 42 that I had, in addition to two more that friends still possess, have performed flawlessly. Even my second 42, with the slide stop engagement problems, only occurred with the 02 mags, and then infrequently. It's tough to fix a problem you can't replicate.
Now, that said, I concur with the above posters; the gun rags rarely give a truly unbiased review (unless you do as nraman did and 'read between the lines'). There was even a writeup of an early 43 that claimed it had a 5 lb trigger (!). I find this, and other, forums far more useful for getting critical reviews and insights, even if we're guilty of a wee bit of bullchitting from time to time. :)

I think the teething pains Glock has had with the micro guns are the same ones every other manufacturer of micro guns has had.
You can't simply shrink an existing product and expect it to work the same as its full size counterpart. Probably why it took them as long as it has to put out the 42/43.
The larger 36 was probably easier for them initially then the 42/43 and why we saw it produced much sooner.

Now what's the excuse for BTF with the 26, 19, 17's [emoji6][emoji482]

I've never had to deal with the category of micro guns. Before Glock there was Ruger Revolvers, before that Colt Revolvers. Sorry my exposure is limited, hence questions. Fortunately I'm large enough where the 26/27/33 is the smallest I need to go, accuracy wise no need to go larger except in need of faster acquisition in drawing with the 17.

Here are the pull weight averages I measured on my G43 a month ago:
#33564: 5 lbs. 2 oz.
#33215: 6 lbs. 15 oz.
Ghost “Edge”: 5 lbs. 5 oz.

I haven't re-measured since then. These were mean averages of 10 pulls each with a Lyman digital gauge taken at the bottom of the trigger.

When I called Glock they gave me two choices...send the gun to them or take it to a certified Glock armorer who would order it for me. Seemed kind of silly since they could mail me one for under a buck. A monkey can install it. Went to Glockmeister and it still took over a month to get it here. The original was a total embarrassment and a lie with the box stating 5.5 pounds. Mine was ten pounds.

Has anyone actually received a new G43 connector from GlockParts? I had placed two on backorder in mid-June. Received notification that it shipped on 6/30/16, never got it, placed call and was told there was an issue with their inventory and that they were expecting some in a few weeks.
Yes. I think that was about the time mine shipped.

Got my new connector, marked 33564, from GlockParts yesterday. Five minute install with a measured trigger pull of 5.0/5.5 lbs, then off to the range. What a difference, just right for a Glock, clean break and nice reset. Just ran 50 rounds through it to function test, all good. With the reduced trigger pull, my shots were right on target where previously, they were a little low and left.

I received mine from GlockParts also. Yes, the pull is much lighter but the there is much less of a wall as well. My previous connector has worn in well after a few thousand rounds and now I'm not sure which I prefer.

There is also a new connector on the Glock parts list. Part #33847 is listed as an 8lb '+' connector for the G42/G43

Received my 33564 connector from Glockparts.com yesterday and put it in today. Much much better! Happy I waited for the OEM connector vs. getting a Ghost - not that there's anything wrong with the Ghost connector. I just prefer to keep my self defense pistols with OEM mechanical parts (sights are an obvious exception).

Just received my 33564 connector from Glockparts. Just exchanged my Ghost Edge with the new connector. The result was that the trigger pull increased from 4.6lbs. to 5.9lbs with the 33564. A little Mother's Mag polish, using a QTip, resulted in virtually no change in trigger pull weight. Just for grins I also reinstalled my original factory connector and honestly it felt better than the "new improved" 33564. Too bad, I'd really like to keep my 43 stock as it does get used for carry from time to time. Been hearing (via this forum & others) of the raves regarding this new part....didn't do it for me.

I just got mine this afternoon from Glockparts.com and installed a few minutes ago. It's no longer a 30lb pull (lol) but there is a bit of creep right before the break...like all my other Glocks..so I'm good with that. I can't wait to get it to the range this week.

I posted this on a diff forum. it may help you out:

I noticed that between the wall and the break, there was very noticeable creep maybe 50% of the time. I've owned two G42s, a 26, a 19C, and now a 43. This is the first time I've ever experienced something like this.

Everything was already polished smooth so I started analyzing every little part of the system.
I noticed that on the firing pin safety plunger (FPSP), the FPSP spring would bind during compression on the edge of the hole (of the FPSP) it goes in. It was even faintly audible when pushing on the FPSP with the slide off. This intermittent binding occurred with both a stock and reduced power FPSP springs.

What I ended up doing was taking a dremel bit (#945) and going at the FPSPS hole for maybe 5 second intervals (about 30-45 sec total), then polishing the chamfer a wee bit.
The end product is an ever so slightly beveled opening for the FPSP spring. You can't even tell the bevel is there unless you look at it under a light and at an angle.
And guess what?
No more creep between the wall and the break! I've dry fired it a few hundred times in the past hour in super slow-mo and can feel no perceptible creep like I could before.

I understand that I'm probably one of the few that experience this problem and am part of an even smaller number of people who would care, but I figure I'd post it anyway

Just got my two in the mail today from glockparts.com for my wife and my G43's. I switched my connector and let her try the triggers on mine with the new connector and hers with the old connector and she opted to stay with the old one. Now her G43 was originally mine and does have more rounds through it and did have a better trigger to start with of the two. Mine I purchased later after she shot our first one and laid claim to it. And it being our first one, I ran quite a few rounds through it before she ever shot it. Hers has a more noticeable wall that mine with the new connector and a little more pull weight needed to break it over. Mine with the old connector was much heavier than the new connector or even her pistol. I don't have a scale, so can't tell for sure the differences in pounds, but as it stands now, she is very happy with the original connector that has been shot in and I am very happy with the new connector.

Ordered 2 - 33564 connectors last week from Glockparts.com, got them yesterday and installed them myself. I did notice a little difference in trigger pull from my 33215 connectors on my G42 and G43 but do not have a trigger scale to measure.
