I just got the gun a few days ago it worked fine while function checking, I purchased a Ghost Edge connector and installed it. After installation it worked for a few dry fires and i noticed racking the slide it was not resetting. So i figured ok, maybe the connector isn't good. Re-installed the OEM one and still happens.. Sooo i strip it all down everything looks normal then i noticed it was my racking method, When you pull straight back applying force back and down the firing pin catches and I can reset. If you pull back and apply a bit of upward force it will not reset EVERY time. It's been awhile since I've owned a Glock I mainly have HK's and this is my first glock in a few years but I never noticed this issue with my other glocks I had. Can someone try this with their guns and see if it happens? pull back and slightly up especially if you own a 43. Thank you!
I don't have that issue with my Glock pistols. I better not. In any case my SD Glock pistols have one in the chamber ready to go. I won't be charging my handgun in the heat of the moment when seconds count.
Same thought, too. But that would mean, even though a new gun, someone has already taken it apart and put it together wrong. Just semi-kidding. It's becoming a common rookie error for this model.
I agree. I know I can't feel the difference between the new 33564 connector and a Ghost "Edge" connector. I suspect folks who are getting a new G43 already have their minds set on modifying it and/or haven't been following the news on Glock's connector change.
Shame the original poster hasn't got back to us to let us know if he has resolved the problem.
