Male, from CA Central Coast

Howdy. Thanks for the offer, but aside from a couple of fun & niche guns, I'm rapidly slowing my purchasing of more guns. Jul 31, 2015

      Bro,

I really enjoyed your post in the Cruz thread. I agree except the undecided. The Republican elitist have pandered to that group and took its base for granted! The last two presidential elections, the base turnout was enemic!
My choice is to shore up the base, then go after the undecideds. Can't do that with a rhino and need someone with conviction and commitment to their core beliefs.

The republican party doesn't realize that it's become dysfunctional and bordering on self-destructive.

Going to be an interesting election, and it might well turn out to be the beginning a sea change for our society.

        Uncharted territory, for certain.

        Best. :)

I didn't even see this message until tonight.

The company or vendor may change spring specs from time to time.

The black follower is the current one for all .45 mags that use the plastic butt plate.

fb-I have some new Wolff mag springs for the 4506 I mentioned to you a while back and am replacing them. I noticed the old springs at the top looking down on them, the "crook" is on the left side whereas it's on the right in the new springs. I don't suppose this matters but wanted to run it by you. I put seven rounds in the mag and tried feeding/ejecting all of them and it worked perfectly.

The two original mags have an orange follower and another mag has a yellow. The other four have a black follower if any of that matters at all.. The new springs were nearly three inches longer than the old ones and are a bit stiff, of course, being new.

Does it matter at all that the last wind of the new spring is on the opposite side from the old ones? I posted this on the General Firearms forum but probably won't get an answer as I don't think many have an old S&W such as this

      Thanks.
