Galco Summer Comfort vs Royal Guard

I've been carrying around a G19 in a Royal guard for about a year now. and i like it. recently just purchased a G26 and need a holster for it. Has anyone carried using both these holsters and found a preference? they are basically the same holster except the Summer Comfort is a lot cheaper.

Any opinions on the matter?

The Royal Guard is made of horsehide which is why it costs more than the summer comfort which is made of cowhide. If you handle them both side by side you can feel the difference. The summer comfort is softer and not as firm as the Royal Guard. I find the horsehide holsters to be more durable and longer lasting. Given the choice I like the Royal Guard. But don't get me wrong, the summer comfort is still a good, quality leather holster. I own a few for some of my weapons and they are a good holster.
