I realize it may not be economically feasible for you to make up grips just for the handguns I mentioned earlier, but...
How about sheets, strips, shapes of the material to DIY for those of us with these not so common handguns? I mean generalized shapes for say the sides, others for the mainspring area, long racetrack style ovals, etc? Kind of a generic all-purpose kit.
You would probably have just as good an idea which ones would work best as I would, but you get the general idea?
Just a thought. I think they would sell, but I could be wrong!

Interesting idea, I may have to look into that. Thank You.

My compact grip will fit that model and will have finger strips on it just like the pictures.

I thought I had an OD Glock the other week but the deal fell through so it looks like an OD pic will be a ways off. I do have an OD P3AT I could put some of the grip on and post a pic of it if you would like.

Satisfied customer
Derik,
I've just put your Talon grips on both my G26 & G17. They look and feel great!
This procedure worked very well for me:
1. Place grips on gun, not worrying about getting everything to stick down.
2. Align portion on backstrap dead center, align finger groove strips evenly with finger grooves.
3. Warm backstrap portion with blowdryer, and stick it down. Warmed grip can slide somewhat to fine tune alignment.
4. Warm sides of grips, stick down all edges, and fine tune alignment.
5. Warm finger groove strips, stick them down and fine tune alignment.
6. I had some very small scissors with long handles, and using just the tips of the blades cut the excess length from the finger groove strips, letting the lower blade slide along the front edge of the side grip, where they overlap, as a guide.
7. Warm these freshly cut areas, stick down and press well up against front edge of side grip.
This procedure resulted in a grip that appears virtually endless in circumference. You must look closely to see the seam.
The only thing I can see that might improve this grip is to include an alcohol swab packet with the order

I just cheated and sprayed alcohol all over the pistol grip, wiped it down, sprayed it again and waited for it to air dry real good. lol!

That is EXACTLY how I did it. Looks good too.

I think you'll like 'em. I just put them on my G17 & G26... they really shine on the short grip subcompacts!

Outstanding method. As per your suggestion Talon Grips now include an alcohol swab. Thanks Pennhead!

I also wanted to add, When installing these, heat helps a lot. I used a hair dryer, and it makes it so much easier to work with. Especially on the excess from the finger strips. Nice grip. I carry IWB 4:00, Hopefully these work out when carrying.

They feel nice. When drawing from a Holster, the gun is A LOT easier to grab. It gives you better control in my opinion. Definetly worth 10bucks.
