ah ok ok the one behind the church. I'll try to pass tuesday - tuesday is my LRT day.
Sige, nice yung military talaga.
BTW, I read that Sieko is one of the few non swiss watches that is being collected now. Iba talaga mga gawa ng Hapon

You should also look at the Citizen Eco-drives, particularly the nighthawk series.
http://www.watchpavilion.com/images/...7000-52E-b.jpg
These are available in Prestige in Sm north and I have not seen the more popular watch stores carry them (washington, time trend, etc). Last time I checked, a chrono version was within your price range. Nice solid link bracelet pa.

i tried the suunto core earlier at shangrila. It feels like im not waring any watch and will dis-integrade any moment. I was told that i has two years warranty on parts and 6mos for the battery. im not 100 percent sure of this watch right now.

If you like the sub look, you can also check out orient watches. I think it is majority owned by seiko and uses a slightly modified older seiko caliber (7002 i think?). Slightly cheaper than seikos locally too.
For seikos though, you wouldn't have to limit yourself to what is available. You can get your hand at modding and have something somewhat unique. 10watches.com is one of the parts stores I have purchased from, you can check he parts and end products there too.

If you want the submariner look, get the real thing. You will not be happy/satisfied with the look alike.
Moded Seiko beside the real thing.

I'm very happy with my Seikos too. They are even getting more wrist times than my other watches.

Have been using a ProTrek PRG90, it got banged around a lot, so far still ticking, the only downside is the rubber strap kind of disintegrated after 2 years... The replacement costs 2k and have to wait for 3 months...
