uhhh...I tink I'm missing something, and as often as that happens, I'm not too surprised. ANyway - cmecha...you were in a state that would not allow the transfer of non-listed items, and somehow you managed to get your hands on one of these in that state before anyone else who has been waiting the long while? That is one wacky turn of events. It simultaneously highlights that ceratin gun laws are ridiculous, but also makes it seem that the process for solving them is quicker than 'regular channels,' assuming that you get the frame on the list and transferred to you eventually. It's a good thing, as it shows that a reasonable person can work around the issues, but what a cluster-bang of a situation in that state. Good on ya for straightening it out, and on LWD for its role, GT for being the place the minds got together, and on the state for working with it (still short of making reasonable gun laws, but less than unreasonable if one can make things happen).

Yup its all about doing your part to keep up 2A and a big part of that was JR working with me to get this thing approved.

Wonder if it will change holster design. The rounded trigger guard might change holster fit. At least for my Blackhawk Serpa

I have a grip reduction on my Glock 19 with a rounded trigger guard and it still works 100% with my Serpa. I cant wait to get my hands on one that thing looks sweet

Nope tried it but the faux rail guides where slightly too wide. i could have made it work but i didn't want to hurt my chances of getting it passed.

I believe he said it had faux rails? So it wouldn't be an actual working sample? Therefore not a gun.

Thanks for the pics and the update everyone.

Can't wait to see JR's masterpiece for myself.

yes it is a working sample but not a gun. it is the exact same as the production units less the reinforce rails so that i can ship it freely with out having an FFL. because BATFE says it's not a gun.

JR, I asked on the last page, but was there anything special that needed to happen from an FFL standpoint?

all i can says is that if you love your glock but hate the grip this is what you need. now all i need is to bring it to the range cause it is very nice.

Maybe it has been posted somewhere in these 700+ posts but what will need to be added to the frame in order to pop a Glock slide onto it?

Will the parts needed to finish the frame be standard Glock Parts or will they need to be Lone Wolf Parts?

this frame will accept all stock glock parts except for the mag release. you will have to buy a Lone Wolf round trigger guard.

Actually the part you are referring to is the round mag release. It will be provided with the frame.

If you are thinking of picking up one of our Prototype TimberWolf frames you should know:
All the parts that are exclusive to the TimberWolf will be included with it. I.e.; grips, round mag release and SF type trigger housing (for a limited time).
All the parts that are common with your factory frame will NOT be included. You can simply transfer the parts from your factory frame to the TimberWolf frame.
