Since this pic was taken, I have added a Knoxx PowerPak, other than that its just a stock Rem 870 Tactical #81400...Don't mind my Bulldog, he's just checking it out:

Mossberg 590 with 20 inch barrel, factory ghost rings and factory heat shield, parkerized finish in a speedfeed stock. I also had the barrel threaded to take choke tubes so it can double as my turkey slayer.
Pictured with my G23 and Ruger PC4 carbine in .40 S&W.

I got rid of my blued 18.5" persueder and found a 20" parkerized version with a metal trigger group that I found at a pawn shop. All I added was my Burris Fastfire and a Knoxx NRS since it came as a PGO, probably why the previous owner let her go. It looked like it was only shot once or twice.

Home defence/ Zombie day ready:
Beretta 1201FP holds 6 plus 1 of 2 3/4 12 gauge goodness, just as fast as you can pull the trigger
Mossberg 500 Cruiser
Mossberg 500? in 410
The Judge
I like them simple too, tho I want to add a light to the Beretta... thats the one I take out into the junkyard when the dogs are sounding serious.
Awesome shotguns people! Great thread...

Here's my new FN SLP Mark 1 that I traded my Mossberg 930 SPX for. It's gonna be my 3-gun shotgun. I can't wait to get out and shoot it. It is by far the sexiest shotgun I've ever laid eyes upon.

If you don't mind me asking, why did you traded in your SPX?

Because it wouldn't cycle anything but high brass birdshot, and because the trigger guard shattered while shooting slugs. The dealer was willing to trade it with a broken trigger guard take responsibility for fixing it.

Thars a good dealer. I have 400 or so through mine with out issue. I'll admit mostly bird shot and only a few slugs but so far its good. Good luck with the FN. Hows it running so far?

I've put a couple boxes through it and it runs like a top. Don't know if I'll be able to make the DMG, but I'm gonna try REAL hard. See ya!

Hope to see you there. I guess now that you have a shotgun that works, I will have to stick with SSG if I want to win. Hope to see you there.

A better pic of my shotty! The previous pic was ugly and was taken with a crappy phone cam!

The only malfunctions my FN SLP has had was when firing offhand with no support. The Action needs your shoulder for resistance, or you need to hold HARD. Aside from that I am totally in love with mine. My gun is the 22 inch. I've added:
Nordic oversized/fluted bolt handle. Huge improvement
Nordic oversized bolt release. Needs drilling and tapping but is like night and day vs the stock release
TacStar 6 round Sidesaddle (same part # as the Browning Gold)
Reflex holo sight
Mark Otto 2 shell elastic holder for the chamber (trick, little cheap goodie for when you run dry - $13 delivered)
Forward sling swivel Picatinny adapter with M3X or Procycon light. It has a sling swivel stud, too, so I lost nothing
Uncle Mike's 3 point sling
Next I am lusting after the X Rail 23 round rotating mag accessory
