simple is better. only thing id add(and id never have one on a pistol) is a gun light or at least a spot for one. I HATE gun lights on pistols as you can use your weak hand for the light..but on a shotty you kinda need both hands..But I LOVE SIMPLE much more than tacticool with a bunch on nonsense hanging off it . VERY nice gun.

This is a really good point. If you have the light mounted and "loose" the weapon, you loose both. But if you have the weapon in one hand and light in the other and loose one, you still have the other. You may still be able to shoot or may be able to temporarily distract your assailant. Smacking your assailant one the side of the head or in the throat with the light even works.
Wise statement.

Do you learn something only one time and then not practice? Do you believe in reinforcement training? Or are you only here for you and get irritated when others share what which you already know? What about newcomers to the board? Or even to this thread? What about their opinions or thoughts about something?
It's nice you may know this, but what about others?

I don't see how you're trying to integrate your first two questions into what you or I previously said. Bring up a beaten to death topic in a thread it has nothing to do with, is not at all similar to practice/training.
I and numerous others get irritated when people stray off-topic from a post or bring up a 'beaten horse'. This is a "Tactical Shotgun Pics" thread, not a "Weapon Mounted Light or in Hand" thread. I like staying on topic, not straying away to something that has been discussed countless, countless times.
If you're truely trying to help newcomers learn, teaching them only one side (the one only you expressed) isn't the way. The discussion should be geared for both sides, letting the newcomer make the decision on what's best for him/her. How are you suppose to manipulate a door handle, lock, alarm system, fire extinguisher, phone, or help move a loved one with both hands ocupado? You're also going to be more accurate firing with both hands on your weapon. Also --- more concentration on target rather than where your gun is pointing in relation to your light... This could go on and on for both sides. Just trying to make the point of expressing both sides for said newcomer.
Now, back to the regularly scheduled programing of "Tactical Shotgun Pics Thread"...

Too Easy
It's the totality of the thread topic as well as the parallel conversations. You are correct, I was offering only one point of view. You were trying to kill the comment as being old news to all.
And yes, the answer to all of your comments in your 3rd paragraph are resolved with one word: Training!
This will be my last comment on this issue as you and I are clearly experienced enough to spar all day. Your comments are taken and considered. Thank you.
Have a good 4th, be safe & shoot straight.

I guess because it's black it's tactical... All stock (18", 2+) except for the Vang Comp big safety. Only thing I plan to add is a XS front bead and later on down the road, a light. But, I like my shotguns clean and simple.
