WTK: Gen 2 357 #'s?

WTK: looking for a ballpark estimate of about how many Gen 2 357s were manufactured (31 and 32). I believe the production would be late '97-early '98 for these guns? I've always heard 2k for the 32s but am wondering if anyone here has any other info. I've been passively looking for one for a few years.

You might search the serial number database here to get an idea.

I too would like to know how many are out there.
I did a search in the serial # thread, and I couldn't find any
32's from the late 90's, but there were a bunch of 31's

There are a few sprinkled in the GT database that fall into the 1997-98 range but not many.
