Relatively close. Dixie Caverns is about 3 miles West of me.
Have you heard me doing some Balistics testing in the evenings the past couple nights ??

Nah, I am a little ways further down the road in Wythe County. One of my first experiences in Virginia was staying at the camp ground there at the Dixie Caverns, it rained while I was there and my kickstand sank into the ground, my bike fell over and it broke off one of my foot pegs, not entirely an enjoyable stay. But, it all worked out in the end.
