FINALLY received the S&W 357SIG barrel...

...I had ordered months ago from Midway. It 'fell into' my 2nd M&P pistol, a .40, and I shot it yesterday. It digested about a hundred rounds of 3 different loads and functioned perfectly, as my other M&P 357 does.

Now I have a stock-looking pistol to use in IDPA's Stock Service Pistol Division.

Congrats, I recently picked up an M&P40 full size after renting one, what a great soft shooting 40 caliber pistol.

Might have to follow suit with the 357 Sig Barrel

I've been thru about 10 Glocks in .40S&W, .45GAP, 10mm, and now 357SIG, and for my small hands, the S&W M&P grip is much more comfortable. I believe the 357SIG caliber is the best-overall auto-pistol cartridge available.

I've accumulated over 4000 round of factory ammo, mostly Speer #54234 Gold Dots but also a K of Remington Golden Saber Bonded 125s, so I'm set for life. Have lots of cases, bullets, powder, and primers for reloading practice/target ammo too. I'm a very happy fella!

My hands are not small, but that's part of the beauty of the M&P, you can change the back strap and it's a different gun to better suit each person's needs. I run the largest back strap on mine, and when the wife wants a run at them we swap in the small one.

I currently own (3) M&P's. Full size 45 with thumb safety, Mid size 45 with thumb safety, and Full size 40SW with thumb safety.

When I can find one I will be buying a threaded 9MM conversion barrel for the 40SW to shoot 9 out of and run my soon to be free form ATF jail Osprey suppressor on it.
