Armscor M206 38spl.

The Snubbie Club

A lesser priced 6 shot 38 Spl. Looks similar to a Colt..and is a "D" size frame...25 Oz...and has a surprising good trigger
Parkerized ..

I handled one a couple of weeks ago because it stuck out amongst the shinier specimens on the shelf. that one was quite rough in fit, finish and trigger. it would though, fit into a military type collection

The trigger on this revolver is well above average + ..I was really surprised....fit and finish is not the best I've seen...but functions great so far..passed my SD shooting test with flying colors....Can't be fed a steady diet of +P ..but no worries...I have been using 158gr LRN..., 147 gr. LWC... and 158gr LSWC....I've got some 158gr JHP. handloads that are standard pressure ..the bullets are some discontinued Winchesters that open up at lower velocities..

a gun that goes bang every time you pull the trigger and fits in your pocket is a secure feeling

I handled one not long ago. They're a bit crude, but I imagine they work well enough.

Looks a lot like a Colt Agent I just got rid of.

They have been in production since 1987...They are several steps above the RG....but if you want a heirloom or a revolver that is unflawed..with perfect fit and finish ..the M200-M206 is not for you..if you want a simple design ..ruff and ready 38spl revolver..this is a revolver you should look at..I feel well armed with this revolver..and I have 30+ handguns in my safe 99% of them for SD carry..and I still like this Ruff Neck..it has its purpose in my carry rotation...I carry it while doing yard work...or checking the springs...and riding in my dash or trunk...

its nuthin pretty...But Armscor makes fine (nuthin fancy) 1911's also
