Hello all. 
Just thought I would stop in and see how many GTers we had in and around the KC metro. Got a PM earlier from one in Belton. There has to be more out there.

I'm pretty new here (mainly lurking), but I'm in Greenwood (just south of Lee's Summit).
Moved up here from the Columbia, Mo area about 2 years ago.
Where do you guys shoot at and are there any decent places to buy used guns around here?

I just moved out of Greenwood in Nov. Quiet place.
There is Bob's Gun Rack in Lee's Summit. He has just about one of everything. He is hit or miss sometimes on his price and his mood to nagotiate though.
There is American Firearms in Grandview. There selection of hand guns was small last time I was by there. Plenty of long guns.
Also try Denny's Guns in NKC off of 210. They will wheel and deal pretty good sometimes on used items.

Thanks for the info Joe!
I've been to Bob's Gun rack once. The guy was a bit testy. I was looking for a Winchester .22 rifle and he had two of them for almost $300 each. I found one 2 days later for $120.
I've been to Crossfire a few times to use their range, but I haven't tried to buy anything there.
I'll check out Denny's next weekend.

Bret at B&R guns can order/transfer anything in.
I normally shoot indoors at Crossfire.
I would also like to brag on a "Defensive Pistol" class I just took this past weekend. For thos of you in the KC area, it is well worth the 75.00 for 1.5 days of shooting/instruction including night shooting. It was just south of Ottawa KS.
