Glock 27

After carrying a 1911 for nearly 30 years, I just switched to a Glock 23C .40 caliber. The Glock weighs a pound less than the 1911 and that was the main reason for the change. Of course, I don't mind having a few more rounds in the magazine.

It's an HK thing. That's how they chamber the first round. They're pricey and have an exclusive club, I've never even seen one, let alone know anyone who's shot one

I carry a Glock 26 in a holster I made

Sig P238 in a Desantis Nemesis pocket carry.

Am looking to pick up a G26 to carry IWB/OWB and use the P238 as a backup.

Cold weather - will carry Springfield XD9 or GI 1911.

Switched From A P2000 To Glock 19

Glock 19 in a TT Gunleather IWB, loaded w/147 gr Golden Sabres.

For 3 years, I carried a P2000. I learned how to shoot the DA/SA very well and had over 5K rounds through it w/o a single failure. It is a great gun.

Last October, I bought a G19-Gen 3, just for the heck of it. When I shot it it was an epiphany. Everything about the 19 was sooo much better than the P2000; the trigger on the P2000 had a lot of slack and the reset point was way too long. The trigger on the 19 was just the opposite.

I was immediately just as good shooting the 19 and within less than 50 rounds, I was shooting it much better than the P2000. My double-taps were so much better. I immediately made the 19 my EDC. By now, I have a little over 1K rounds (mostly WWB 115 FMJ) & zero malfunctions...& I don't expect any.

What holsters do you use for these?

I have a g27 and recently got a 640. Was thinking of continuing the g27 with my single galco IWB and maybe an ankle holster for the 640.

Glock 31 or 33 (.357sig) most of the time. Sometimes a S & W 638 (.38 Special +P).

First post not in GnG or BRF in... years. Wow. Anyway, just sold my P3AT and replaced it with Sig P238. Been wanting to try one on since they came out, but never had any luck finding one locally, until just recently. Had to have it. It's an improvement over the Kel-Tec (which was 100% reliable over a thousand rounds) in every way.

Real sights (and night sights to boot), much better trigger, and a hair heavier, all of which combine to make for much quicker, more accurate hits. Looks a hell of a lot sexier too!

Not sure what pocket holster I'll go with yet, but I'm really digging this for a deep concealment piece. Hope it's 1911ish features don't get me going in that direction

Depending on wardrobe, either a G26 or a PM9 in a Garrett Silent Thinder AIWB:

When the weather cools off, if ever, I'll be carrying a G19 or a Kahr K9 in a CTAC holster.

G26. The right size, just a bit fat. Ordered a Kahr CM9. It's a single stack so much skinnier.

When I carry it's the only pistol I own, a Beretta 92f Compact.
