I carry primarily my Sig P250C but every once in a while, the P229 comes out to get some air.

I carry a G19....just started to carry actually. I am getting used to the crossbreed supertuck. I am a bigger guy(5'11" and 240ish) and it fits very well for me.

I would love to check out a sig p290 for a possible pocket carry.

This thread is so long . . . .

that I forgot what I said in my first reply. So here goes again. When I get all of my guns back in a few days, the first thing to do is to send my beloved G17 to Glock GA to get a third gen frame put on. While it is away, I'll carry my Springfield Armory M1911A1 .45. Aside from the coned barrel and Tungston-carbide recoil spring guide (all done by a fine pistolsmith Paul Barrett in Montreal, Quebec), it is a heavy stock M1911A1 .45 pistol. It will make me appreciate the G17's 30-ounce loaded weight, compared to the SA .45's 48-oz loaded weight! That is over a pound of weight difference! But I figure that eight rounds of my 255gr SWC bullet loaded to 840 FPS will do in place of the G17's 15 rounds of 115gr JHP at 1300 FPS. I just have to remember to count to eight!

Very nice. I saw one just like that at a local gun store not too long ago. It was tempting, but my wallet convinced me to not give in.

Cooler months G 36 and summer G 26. Also a J frame or Ruger LCP as BUG or pocket gun.
