Just switched to an M&P 9c. Carrying in a Shielded Holster that was originally for a Glock 17. I remolded the Kydex and cut the leather to better fit the M&P. I still need to figure out a way to smooth the edges of the leather though...

For no-excuse-not-to-carry-always, the ultra slim Diamondback DB9 IWB versa carry holster or Galco TucNGo (at Kimber 3" size) . or just a pocket.
Soon to be replaced with Kahr PM40.
For outdoors; camping, fly fishing, hiking, and generally traipsing through meth-lab infested forests, Glock 27 with the short mag.

For my casual dress days, my Glock 31, for my basketball shorts, or pajama pants days, my Ruger LCP.

Glock 17, Kahr PM9, FN 5.7 orHK P7 PSP.
Sometimes, a Sig 228.
Other days, a .357 J-smith revolver with laser sights.
I like them all!!!

G30 for daily carry, but if I was knowing going into a potently dangerous situation I'd have my SP101 (3 1/6th" barrel) with clip draw, loaded with Remington 125gr. SJHP
Makes it hard to vote for "Auto or Wheelgun" but if I had to vote for one it would be Revolver.

Anyone carry a Ruger LC9?
Anyone carry a Ruger LC9?
I currently carry a G19, (the one on my signature I am selling), and am considering a Ruger LC9 because it is single stack 9mm only 0.9" wide, (Glocks are 1.18" wide), and I like the size & grip feel. Also it fits in my pocket nicely.
Does anyone one here have experience with the LC9? The only issue I see is being used to striker fire Glocks and having to learn the long double action trigger.

My offduty carry
Hello from the Land of Sun,
a photo of my ccw (offduty carry), a Kimber Compact Stainleees II 45 ACP and a Ruger LCP 9x17 (Short) as bug and EDC in hottest days!
On duty we can oly carry, concealed or open, Beretta 92 in 9x19 (Luger) and no bugs!
The knife is the traditional "Gobbo" ( hunchbacked ) Abruzzese (Italian central region), that's good for every kind of use!

+1. Penetrates excellently too. 180-grain Speer Gold Dot is my current hi-to, with 180-grain Federal HST as a standby.

My EDC is a Glock 27 IWB and a S&W Bodyguard 380 pocket carry. Sometimes depending on where I'm headed I'll have my S&W sigma on me too.

KAHR P9
I went to Sportsman's Warehouse & Cabela's to checkout all the single stack 9mm CCW pistols. I figured I'd end up with a Taurus 709 or Ruger LC9, but then I held a KAHR CW9. It looked & felt like a top notch quality mini Glock so I bought one.
The trigger is a bit wide & if I put more than just the pad of my trigger finger on it I get pinched. I guess that is a good thing to insure I am doing it right. Once I got home with it I looked online to confirm you couldn't get a CW9 with a black slide. Then I discovered the KAHR P9 & was bummed I bought the CW9. Fortunately the place I buy guns Colorado will let me trade it toward a P9 since I haven't fired it.

I had an LC9 and liked everything about it, ergonomics etc. Except mine was defective. When dry firing with snap caps the trigger was long but smooth, quite nice. However when I went to the range to shoot real ammo, the trigger would sometimes be long and smooth, and then somehow get knocked out of alignment for lack of a better term to where it would somehow "stick" at the break point and make for a trigger I could barely pull with all the strength in my finger. It felt/looked like the hammer was getting stuck on the frame or something.
Since it was slightly too big for me to pocket carry, I ended up trading it in for an M&P9c
