This thread needs more love.

Bull, didja get the convertible?

.45 ACP in a .45 Colt cylinder means the bullet has to take a bus and two trains to get to the forcing cone.

Unfortunately it only came with the one cylinder. I needs to get me some cowboy leather for it now.

.45 colt is what Roland of Gilead called a hard caliber.
Hit hard.
Put them down hard.

One thing I am thinking of projecting. It has an aluminum ejector rod housing and aluminum frame and the finish is wore off badly. Thinking of replacing with steel parts and getting it refinished. It has a really nice set of after market walnut grips on it. Burly

Lets do it.

I have a Ruger GP 100 I put a scope on and need to sight it in before deer season.

We drove the Parkway the other day. Not quite Oklahoma, huh?

Not much like that there. Although I hear the Talihina Drive in eastern Oklahoma this time of the year is awesome.

You are right - I've hunted there. I read West of Hell's Fringe while sitting in my deer stand. I camped at the Wild Horse campground and ate at the the Talihina Burger Barn.

99 cents for a quarter-pounder!

I asked if I could add lettuce and tomato.

The waitress said "IT COMES WITH ALL THAT!"

That area looked just like SW Virginia.
One of the most fun hunts I ever had.

I checked the Clearbrook Walmart today for 357 ammo and they had lots of everything except 357 Magnum.

What's that about?

I picked up some more of that Federal 9mm for <10 bucks.

Are there any other GTers close enough to go shooting with us?
