Don't understand the Glock hostillity
I don't post a lot, but am always amazed by the hostility on the threads from time to time toward Glocks.
I recently attended one of the top firearm training schools in the county, Frontsight. There were 500 shooters there. 80% were Glockers. The week before there were 1500 shooters and the Glock percentage was the same. Nothing wrong with other guns, but there was an avid 1911 guy openly bashing the Glock in class. I happened to face off with him during a shoot out. He was on his 6th shot on the first of 3 targets when I had already completed the drill with only 3 shots fired and my Glock back into my holster. Absolutely destroyed the guy. He also had malfunctions during the course.
Mabey the 80% know something? Not that Glock has to be honored as the only best weapon out there. It's a matter of preference. But the law enforcement in the school all had Glocks as did military and security...proffesional approval.
If you don't like the Glock, it doesn't mean you are wrong, but it doesn't make a Glock owner wrong either. Glocks are simple, light, accurate and virtually trouble free. Their popularity speaks for itself.

I own just one at the moment. A nice Glock 22 gen 3. I plan on getting a few more models. There are so many that I would like to have. Especially the long slides and compensated models.

I have 4 Glocks. 17,21,23, and 36. I own several other brands of hand guns but I love all my Glocks the best. Most reliable, most accurate, and most fun to shoot. if I'm ever down to only 4 guns it will be my 4 Glocks!

Just 3....the most recent to replace one that was stolen some years back. But does it count that I have a Kel Tec Sub-40 that uses Glock mags?
After the Glock's, the next highest category would be my Para Ordance's, then Sig's.....
