End of Duty

Sad, prayers to the family...

http://www.valleynewslive.com/story/...-lt-jeff-skuza

Fargo Police Chief Keith Ternes announced on Tuesday that Lt. Jeff Skuza died in the early morning hours of a self inflicted gunshot wound.

Officers were initially called to an area near the Holy Cross cemetery south of Fargo. The call went out around 4:30 this morning as an unknown disturbance. Ternes says responding officers found Skuza at the cemetery. Valley News crews who visited the cemetery this morning said they saw evidence of activity.

Skuza worked in District 1 for the Fargo police department and at one time served as the department's public information officer.

We all have our demons. Some have a more profound effect than others.

RIP Officer. God let him have peace.

Sorry for the loss. I gather he was a valued member of the community.

Maybe he didn't know what his loss will mean to others.

We were talking once at work and discussed how easy it was to criticize workers but how so very hard it was to praise them. People are valuable. Praise should be given 100X more than criticism.

He was important.

May he rest in peace.

Prayers for his family.

Rest in Peace

People should be remembered not by the way they died, but by the way they lived. I am sure that his family, his officers, friends, and the community will miss him. God rest his soul.
