Very nice AKs guys...Wow. I don't own one yet. I would not even know what kind I wanted. In my area, the cheaper AKs are about $350.

Perhaps the "rarest" pre-ban variant to come out of Polytech. This one came from the factory with a Polytech AK-74 style muzzle break, as well as a Polytech fiberglass vertical foregrip. The B-square mount and scope were installed by me a while later (using existing pins / not drilled). To my understanding, less than 100 of these muzzle break / vertical foregrip equipped Polytech AK variants made it into the US before the '89 Import Ban.
In all the years that I've owned her, I've only seen one other identical model which was up for sale on gunbroker a few years ago. Haven't seen any more of these anywhere since. I'm putting her up for sale soon since all she does is sit in my gun safe for the last 10 or so years (or, looking to trade for a Bushmaster or DPMS M4-A3 flat top carbine... new or used, doesn't matter to me as long as it hasn't been abused).
I'll probably list it locally first here in Oregon / Washington, but if I have no buyers / traders, I'll list it for any fellow forum members that may be interested here at Glocktalk.

I was going to say this is my latest incarnation of my Saiga, but since I took this picture, I've installed the SAW grip, which I really like.

Some updates pics of my AKs. Top to bottom...Romanian AK-74, Romanian G-kit on NDS receiver, Maadi with US black walnut furniture, STG2003C, M-70AB2, AMD-65.
Different...
Against the fireplace with bayonets fixed...
Closer...
The AMD-65 and Yugo fit nicely in this case...

Now that I have refinished the wood with boiled linseed oil and sealed in wax, it may be my favorite AK.
Here is a family pic of my AKs. From left to right: SAR-1, Romy G Kit, Yugo M70AB2, and an unbuilt Polish PMKMS
[IMG] [/IMG]
The pic does not include my completed Polish PMKMS that is at a friends being hotblued. As you can see, my G-Kit also needs to be hotblued...
