Yup. And here it is! The ARC was such a pain in the ass to install. Especially since it didn't come with instructions. I did figure it out eventually. All in all it took over 3 hours over 2 nights. I had to put It down after about 2 hours the first night due to frustration...

Love it, I think you did very good job on this gun... I see you added also Ergo grip ? The short handle, the ACE stock and the Ergo grip would be my choice also.
Setup like this would be my goal with my Tantal, of course I would not be able to fit any forend that goes beyond the gas tube ring - on the Tantal it is a whole unit that holds the gas tube and the forend together, it's not separate as on your gun, but I'll figure something out, MI has similar to your ACR2...
Let us know how it feels when you shoot it.

Ya the ergo grip is nice. I would have gone with the hogue but the store didn't have one. I took it out last weekend w/o the arc and it shot great. I really wanted the shorty tango down, but I already had this one lying around. As for the MI rail, i like mine a lot but I think the arc looks better. However I don't know if you can justify the cost difference. Heres mine on a SLR101

Do you find the extended lower handguard cumbersome? I've been kicking around the idea of a MI extended lower hg, but it just seems so bulky. I really just want to be able to mount a VFG without it getting in the way during reloads.

With the acr I can put the vfg far enough forward that it stays out of the way. Like I already said, I would prefer a shorty but I already had this one. If I decide to put something on the mi rail it will have to be a short grip or the angled grip.

Thanks for the compliment, I was going after the "battle-hardened" look, lol.

I really didn't think about a short grip.
I'll be right back

That came out really good. Did you have to do anything special prep for the Duracoat process?
I like the contrast of the FDE/Black components...
