Hello everyone. Just wanted to say hello as I am new to the site.
There are some amazing Ak's posted in this thread.
Can anyone please tell me who makes the mag of the very first AK pictured on page one? I am kinda new to AK's.
Thanks and I have really enjoyed the pics.

My AK done on the cheap......
WASR 10 GP
Ultimak 1913 Railed Piston Guide
Burris Fast Fire Red Dot
Tapco Mag
Tapco Furniture
Tapco VFG
Ergo Sure Grip
Ergo Ladder Covers
I originally purchased the Tapco stuff as a temporary configuration but I soon realized that would not be necessary. The stuff is rock solid with no movement what so ever and is ergonomically correct for me. The Tapco lower hand guard is a cleaner fit to the Ultimak gas piston guide than the Ultimak's own lower hand guard is. There mag has the same fit as well with zero movement. I just added the Burris Fast Fire yesterday so I have not got to try it out yet but it does give a co-witness that is perfect. You can just see the top of the front sight post through the blade with the dot sitting on top of it.

Packin' Heat - Great looking VEPR
Nice job. What hand guard did you use and how hard was it to mod to fit the VEPR?

LOL no it just wanted to pose there. It seems very impractical to drive around with an AK. It would take to long to grab and load if there was a situation.
Thats what the 1911 in the glovebox is for.
