Just want to say... thanks for sharing. I usually miss this kind of stuff and only catch the massive quote tree of deleted pics, broken links and +1's after the fact. ETA: You should censor the naughty parts though.

My two Sunday afternoon range rifles. The one with the DD Lite 14 Rail is my latest build which I have finished last night. Those damn spare parts always turn themselves into complete rifles...

It depends on what your purpose is for the build. Will it duplicate or compliment what you already have? Where does it fit in your overall weapons plan?

Just picked up my m&p Sport on Monday. Got it for $705 after tax. Which is pretty good all things considered.

Yes it is, looked at every model in that pricerange and once I picked it up I was sold! Love the quadrail. I didn't like the sights so I slapped on some Magpul flip-ups work perfect with my reddot.

All you need is sling and light after the RDS.

That's an awesome carbine!

Thanks samuse,

I do have a Vtac/Troy padded sling, its a little uncomfortable with the front sling mount so far forward and being under the barrel, the rifle always wants to twist around. Iam looking at either at a MI SS drop in rail that has qd mounts, or a qd mount for the MOE handguard.

Have a light too, but am waiting on a Vtac light mount. So in the mean time a scope ring will have to work, lol

Click the image to open in full size.

Ps I dig the pink ladder cover, might have to put something pink on mine. Just because i like the funny reactions at the range.

IWC makes a low profile QD socket for the MOE handguard that works VERY well. It requires drilling a half inch hole in the handguard, but it is a very low-snag setup. I have one on my 16" midlength, and it's worked quite well for me.
