Budget prairie dog build in it's very beginning stage. As funds allow I'll be shaving the GB and putting in a 15" Troy VTAC Alpha, Geiselle SSA-E trigger, and of course a proper scope and mount (the one on there now has been temporarily stolen from my .22).

I've had that lower set up like that for at least two years, so it doesn't count

Aimpoint CompM2, love this thing. Debated, and almost ordered the PRO. But confession time, I really like the look of the Comp, lol. Got a gnarliness to it that just suits this rifle.
This AR gets my special brand of tender-loving-care, lol.
As expected, the Aimpoint handles it just fine.

This is the kind of rifles I like to see, well used. All the corners shiney and stuff.

Lol, ya, this gun does not have an easy life at all!
Gotta give PSA props. Their shipping sucks, they screw up orders here and there...
But for the money, you'd be hard pressed to find tougher gear.
BCM still gets the nod in my book for highest quality per dollar spent(not to mention top-notch CS, and lightning-fast shipping), but PSA certainly allows you to build a tough-ass AR on a budget.

Thanks! I'm liking it too.
DSA lower with Ergo
Spikes complete upper, receiver ext, LPK, NiB BCG
10.2 Noveske SS barrel in 300BLK flavor, pistol gas system
MI FF rail
Troy fixed sights
Magpul ASAP and AFG
I'm waiting on my trust paperwork right now so I can hurry up and wait six months... I'll probably go with a CTR or something lightweight when I get the stamp back to SBR it. Then I'd like to get a suppressor, so the A2 is just a place holder for now. Maybe a T-1... Always something.
The 300 is a pretty cool little round. I'm just starting to mess around with it and I think it has a lot of potential on both ends of the sound barrier. I think I may get a 16" barrel for one of my other uppers too, it'll be interesting to see the performance difference.

Wow, even better!
Actually, how do they compare side by side? I just think it's a really cool design, precursor to the UBR right?

The mounting method of the Ergo is standard carbine setup.
Few subtle differences, polymer on the Magpul has a better "feel" to it, the Ergo has a bit of a "plastic" feel to it.
Over all I like the Magpul better and yes, this became the UBR.

Special thanks to all the Black Rifle Forum frequenters for their advice, feedback, tips and patience.
