My current line-up...

Black Rifle Forum

Left to right;

My baby, BCM middy, Magpul MOE gear, M-512, Streamlight, YHM flip-up.

Beater/trunk-gun, PSA carbine, MOE stuff, DD fixed sight.

Just cuz, PSA bare bones old-school carbine. Just the basics, carry handle sight.

Not sure why, lol. RRA middy, free-float, Magpul gear & flip-ups(yuck), cheesy Blackhawk light, Strikefire up top(I actually like these, flame away! ).

Lol, not quite. I didn't build this one, took it in as part of the payment for a Mustang I just sold.

This RRA will see some definite changes soon.

@Mjkeat ~ While I do love Magpul's gear in general(lol, obviously), two reasons;

1) Not a huge fan of plastic sights. Magpul's ARE very well made, but I can be quite rough on my ARs. Having snapped the top half of an MBUS off once before(in the "up" position), I don't use them on my builds. Fixed A2 in the front, DD or YHM usually out back.

2) I don't like flip-up front sights, period. For my own use, I see no reason for them. I shoot off of irons only, or with a red-dot co-witnessed off the front sight. So for me, there's never a time when there shouldn't be a front sight sticking up out there.

Even on the odd occasion that I put an actual scope on top, the front sight isn't an issue, as it vanishes when looking through the glass.

The beater PSA finally gets some Aimpoint love.

At long last, I finally caved, and fitted the beater with a red-dot. And given the uhh... less than meticulous care given to this AR, clearly not a good time to go el-cheapo.

Aimpoint CompM2, love this thing. Debated, and almost ordered the PRO. But confession time, I really like the look of the Comp, lol. Got a gnarliness to it that just suits this rifle.

Black Rifle Forum

This AR gets my special brand of tender-loving-care, lol.

As expected, the Aimpoint handles it just fine.
