If I ever need a quad rail again, I definitely will. At this point I just don't have enough stuff to hang off one to justify it. At the time I went with the Troy because quads look cool, and I didn't have the capability to install anything that replaced the stock barrel nut.

Delta ring + quad rail just looks weird to me. Then again I'm odd like that.

Don't think I've posted this.

Completed this with a 300 blackout barrel about a month ago.

Thanks! The kick is not bad at all on the Diablo. The muzzle device really helps with that. It is extrememly loud though! As far as the markings on the mag... I kept losing them at the range and I marked them Yankie Charlie (no one would have this marking) and then a number to keep it from happening.

My nice and simple build. At some point I would like to put a PRO on there with a flip up rear. But I'd like to keep this rifle pretty simple. For my next build I'd either like to do an A4 type build or a KISS 16" with a fixed carrying handle.

Airborne Infantryman,

Why did you choose the Sig 516 7.5" PDW for your SBR? I'm interested because I am building my own SBR and have heard of gas issues with barrels less than 11.5". I don't know how true that is. I'm just seeking information and want to know your reasoning. Would adding a can make a difference or change your choice?

Stay on target,
Geld6
