I went a similar route when I started my SBR - I already had a pinned 14.5" build, and ordered a stripped lower to SBR. The pinned 14.5" went away once I got the SBR finished, and I am now in the process of rebuilding it as a true (sans happy switch) SOCOM/RIS II clone.

i prefer the surefire z70 ladders, but i must say that is one sexy looking rifle. must be that gear sector hardware
